Job Descriptions
Full Time & Part Time
This individual will be an essential member of our team assisting in the day-to-day activities of the front counter. A Front Counter Associate needs to have great customer service skills and the ability to keep up in a fast-paced environment.
As a Front Counter Associate, you will be responsible for an variety of general tasks including, but not limited to the following duties:
- Customer Service for retail and contractor clients
- Eager to learn and promote our product lines
- Answering phones with proper etiquette
- Creating sales orders for walk-in and phone clients
- Cashier
- Must understand basic math formulas
- Monitoring in-stock products
- Well organized
- Excellent communication skills
An ideal candidate will be a self-motivated individual who has a high energy level with the ability to multi-task.
Bonus Skills:
QuickBooks, Sales Experience, Bi-lingual
Full-time and Part-time
This candidate will help with loading materials on/in customer vehicles. This position is very physical and times requires heavy lifting.
As a yard laborer, you will be responsible for a general indoor & outdoor tasks including, but not limited to the following duties:
- Customer Service for retail and contractor clients
- Eager to learn our product lines and their location in stockyard.
- Monitoring in-stock products
- Able to follow instructions and procedures
- Well organized
- Excellent communication skills
An ideal candidate will be a self-motivated individual who has a high energy level with the ability to multi-task.
Bonus Skills:
Fork-lift Experience, Bi-lingual
This individual will be responsible for transporting material from our yard to customers & contractors in the local area. Our drivers are an essential part of our customer service team.
Requirements:
- Commercial drivers license A, B or C class
- Minimum 1 year driving experience in a commercial vehicle
- Clean driving record
- C.D.L medical examiner’s certificate
- Familiarity with streets and towns in the local area
During the application process, applicants may be asked to test-drive our equipment. To facilitate this, applicants will be asked to provide us a copy of their CDL license with their application.
Applicants will also be required to sign an authorization form allowing this company to request their Motor Vehicle Report for the purpose of allowing driving privileges in one of our company vehicles.
If you are hired as a driver for AreA Landscape Supply, Inc., you will be required to supply us with an up-to-date Medical Examination Report & a satisfactory drug screen taken at a clinic designated by this company (at applicant’s cost)
